Hello all!

This is just a quick note to let you know that we haven’t forgotten about you and your thirst for knowledge about rain screen drainage planes! We at MTI are working hard to publish the remaining posts of our series.

In the meantime, why not check out the many sites we have created and updated this summer?

Of course, we’ll start you off with our main website, mtidry.com. How can you go wrong with our free HyperSpecs Graphic Arts Library? It features hundreds of wall detail drawings, animations and CAD details. Then there’s always our educational resources, including AIA/CES courses and the soon-to-come Drainage Plane University!

Since you’re reading our blog, we’re betting you’ve already discovered our myriad of social networking sites. They include LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and MPIN (on Ning).

While you’re probably familiar with the other sites, MPIN was new for us, too. It stands for Masonry Professionals Information Network and it’s a place for architects, builders, contractors, engineers, homeowners, manufacturers and anyone else in the masonry profession to share advice, articles, resources, project photos and connect with other people in their field. It’s growing quickly, and we recommend you give it a try!

Lastly, MTI has made quite a few additions to the online Google SketchUp 3D Warehouse, including 3D models of window and wall details. You can access our collection here.

We’ll soon be adding our next articles on how to choose an appropriate rain screen drainage plane for your building project, so be sure to check back! Get connected through Twitter, Facebook or MPIN and we’ll post updates there as well.

Thanks for your interest and, as always, we welcome your feedback!
